Proper ID were a quirky punk/new wave style band who performed in and around Rockland County NY , New Jersey and New York City starting in the early 1980's. The band managed to self release one 7" in 1981, which is there only recording to my knowledge. If anyone has more detailed information about Proper ID or has other recordings (demo,records, practice tapes or live tapes) then drop us a line as we would love to hear more from Proper ID, and we would also like to flesh out the bands history...Dave G.
